Farm Credit AgEnhancement Program Invites Grants

Deadline: December 1, 2023


Farm Credit East awards grants through its Farm Credit AgEnhancement program to help organizations promote awareness of and strengthen agriculture, commercial fishing, and forest products in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, and Vermont.


Grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded in support of efforts to foster and grow all types of agriculture, forest production, or commercial fishing, including traditional and nontraditional production and marketing approaches. Program areas include but are not limited to leadership development, economic viability, and enhancement; programs to promote northeast agriculture and recognize developments of ag leaders; efforts to build a better understanding of agriculture, forestry, and commercial fishing; and economic analysis to foster agriculture.

Saucony Run For Good Foundation

Deadline: December 1, 2023

The Saucony Run For Good Foundation is committed to improving the lives of children by helping to prevent and reduce childhood obesity. We act to inform the public about its cause and prevention and provide funding to optimize the impact and success of community organizations that promote running and healthy lifestyle programs for youth. By providing funding to community organizations that promote running and fitness programs for children, the Saucony Run For Good Foundation is dedicated to not only preventing but eliminating this serious health concern.


There are two rounds of grants per year. Applications are to be submitted by December 15 and June 15, annually. Any application coming through after those dates will be considered for the next grant round.

Walmart Local Community Grants

Deadline: November 1 – December 31


Walmart's local community grants are awarded through an open application process and provide funding directly from Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities to local organizations in the U.S. Don’t know how to determine your local facility? Don’t worry, the application will assist you.

Guidelines

  • Local Community grants range from a minimum of $250 to a maximum of $5,000.

  • Eligible nonprofit organizations must operate on the local level (or be an affiliate/chapter of a larger organization that operates locally) and directly benefit the service area of the facility from which they are requesting funding.

  • Applications may be submitted at any time during each quarter funding cycle. All applications will be reviewed prior to the next funding cycle.

  • Organizations may only submit a total number of 25 applications and/or receive up to 25 grants within the 2023 grant cycle.

  • All organizations applying for a Local Community grant must be CyberGrants FrontDoor verified prior to applying.

ALDI Cares Community Grants

Deadline: February 1st – December 15th each year


Applying for support from ALDI? Make sure your organization meets the following requirements:

  • Organizations must be a US based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, public or private K-12 school, or Native American Tribe/Nation

  • Organizations must be able to provide their IRS Form W-9, most recent IRS Form 990 Schedule A and 501(c)(3) certification or equivalent documentation for public entities, schools, and religious organizations.

  • All organizations applying for a community grant must be verified through YourCause prior to applying. We verify all 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations through YourCause to confirm they meet all IRS requirements to receive grant. If your organization is not listed or you’re unable to be verified through YourCause, contact YourCause prior to reaching out to ALDI

Areas of Funding

ALDI supports three main areas for grant funding. Please review the below categories below to ensure your organization falls within our funding areas.

  • Children’s Health & Wellness: Organizations and causes whose mission is primarily focused on improving the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of youth, 0-18, through education, arts, athletics, or out of/after school programming

  • Food Insecurity: Organizations who are addressing lack of consistent access to quality nutritious foods for a healthy and active lifestyle

  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Organizations committed to breaking down systemic barriers, increasing access to equitable opportunities, advancing racial equality and promoting justice

Every year, ALDI Cares Community Grants is evaluated to ensure the program is making the largest impacts in our core focus areas, and sometimes this means organizations that previously qualified are no longer eligible. While we wish we could support all organizations that apply, the grant program will continue to remain focused on our core focus areas.


Guidelines

  • Community grants range from a minimum of $250 to a maximum of $5,000.

  • Funding requests should be submitted at least eight weeks prior to the date the requested donation is needed.. Applications are reviewed as they are received, and we'll make every effort to review and respond to all requests in a timely manner.

The Mabee Foundation

Deadline: December 1, 2023


Generally, the Mabee Foundation supports organizations or projects in the following areas:

  • Educational

  • Social and Humanitarian Services

  • Medical and Health

  • Cultural and Religious

Grant requests must be received by the first business day of December, March, June and September to be considered at the corresponding Board meeting. The Mabee Foundation only makes grants for construction projects, renovation projects and for the purchase of major medical equipment.

The Mabee Foundation requires that 40% of the total project be raised by other public donors before it will consider a grant request. Names of donors must be included in the grant application. The 40% fundraising requirement must be met by the time an application is submitted.


To qualify for a Mabee Foundation grant, the project must be located in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, Missouri or Kansas.

 

The Impact Fund

Deadline: Nov 7, 2023


The Impact Fund awards recoverable grants to legal services nonprofits, private attorneys, and small law firms who seek to advance justice in the areas of civil and human rights, environmental justice, and poverty law.

The Impact Fund makes recoverable grants to lawyers, small law firms, and nonprofit organizations involved in impact litigation. We fund civil rights, human rights, anti-poverty, and environmental justice cases that will affect a marginalized group. Most of our grants are for class actions, but we also fund multi-plaintiff and environmental justice cases that aim to significantly affect a larger system or lead to significant law reform. Impact Fund grants may be used for out-of-pocket litigation expenses such as expert fees and discovery costs, but not for attorneys’ fees, staff, or other overhead.
